In 1970, Norman and Martha Bressler established a full-service Esso station along newly-constructed Interstate 80 in Loganton, PA. The next year, the couple entered the towing business with the purchase of a new tow truck for passenger vehicles.
Their son, Robert “Bob” Bressler, assumed ownership in 1983, and the business became Bressler Brothers Garage. In 2002, Bressler’s Garage expanded to a second location in Milton, PA. A third location in Williamsport, PA, followed in 2008. Still family-owned and -operated for over 50 years, Bob continues to run the business while his children, Amanda and David, manage daily operations at what has evolved into one of the largest towing and recovery services in central Pennsylvania.
Bressler’s Environmental Service was born in 2023 as a new division of the parent company that responds to environmental incidents and performs site remediation services. Amanda, who earned a BS in Chemistry from New Mexico Tech in 2005 and a PhD in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University in 2011, and David, who earned a BS degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2007, oversee this new division. Both have been affiliated with the family-owned company since childhood and have worked together to expand the portfolio of services over many years within the company. Staff members experienced in the environmental response and restoration fields have been added including an environmental coordinator, safety director, and several environmental technicians with decades of environmental experience and specialized training.
